JOB DESCRIPTION

• Projects done in ANSYS
1. Electro-structural and Electro-thermal analysis of
Moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB).
2. Electromagnetic analysis for the devices like under
voltage release, contactor, flux shift device(FSD),
permanent magnet release (PMR).

• Product development
1. Have developed a Magnetically latched contactor with
continuous power loss of around 100mW by using electronic
control circuit and permanent magnet.
2. Applied for the patent of above.
3. Developed a linear voice coil actuator for the remote
operation of MCCB.
4. Concept development of Short circuit current limiter
for low voltage circuit breakers.

PROJECT WORK DETAILS

M.TECH PROJECT

The title of project was Development of constant power
controller by using TCSC and GCSC. The unique achievement
of the project was to control the power flow from one
generation unit to another generation unit by using
combination of TCSC and GCSC with closed loop power
controller. The working model of the whole system,
comprising two generating units, transmission lines and
power controller with TCSC and GCSC was developed and tested
successfully.

B.E. PROJECT

Load Flow Analysis by using Newton-Raphson iterative
method in MATLAB for 500 bus system.

GATE SCORE :

99.38 percentile with 114 All India Rank.
